PDF Reports

The PDF Reports module lets you generate professional, branded reports for clients and internal stakeholders — at the push of a button.

Available Report Templates

Point comes with a set of standard report templates. Your administrator can also create custom templates.

Generating a Report

  1. Click PDF Reports in the left navigation
  2. Select a Report Template from the list
  3. Configure the report parameters:

Portfolio(s)Select one or more portfolios to include
Date / Date RangeThe valuation date or reporting period
Base CurrencyOverride the display currency if needed
Include Look-ThroughWhether to look through funds to underlying holdings
LanguageReport language (if multiple languages are configured)
  1. Click Generate Report
  2. The report will be generated (usually within 30 seconds)
  3. Click Download to save the PDF

Scheduling Reports

To automatically generate and deliver reports on a schedule:

  1. Configure the report as above
  2. Instead of clicking Generate, click Schedule
  3. Set the schedule:
    • Frequency: Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly
    • Day/Time: When to generate the report
    • Delivery: Email recipients or save to a shared folder
  4. Click Save Schedule

Scheduled reports will be generated automatically and delivered to the specified recipients.


Report History

All generated reports are saved in the report history:

  1. Click PDF Reports
  2. Click the History tab
  3. Browse previously generated reports with their dates and parameters
  4. Click Download to re-download any previous report

Customising Report Templates

Administrators can customise report templates:

  1. Go to System Settings → Report Templates
  2. Select a template to edit
  3. Customise:
    • Logo and branding — upload your logo and set brand colours
    • Sections — choose which sections to include and their order
    • Cover page — customise the cover page text and layout
    • Fonts and colours — match your brand guidelines
  4. Click Save Template
