Live Analytics
Live Analytics provides real-time and on-demand analytics across your entire investment universe. It is powered by Point's Intelligence Engine, which delivers both persistent (pre-calculated) and on-demand analytics.
What Live Analytics Shows
The Live Analytics dashboard gives you a consolidated view of:
- Portfolio Performance — returns across all time periods
- Asset Allocation — exposure by asset class, geography, sector, and currency
- Risk Metrics — volatility, drawdown, concentration
- Attribution — what drove performance (asset allocation vs. security selection)
- Benchmark Comparison — performance relative to assigned benchmarks
Dashboard Layout
The Live Analytics dashboard is divided into panels:
Performance Panel
Shows returns for all portfolios (or a selected subset) over:
- 1 Day, 1 Week, 1 Month, 3 Months, 6 Months
- Year to Date (YTD)
- 1 Year, 3 Years, 5 Years, Since Inception
Toggle between Absolute (currency) and Relative (percentage) views.
Allocation Panel
A visual breakdown of your investment universe by:
- Asset Class — Equity, Fixed Income, Alternatives, Cash
- Geography — by country or region
- Sector — GICS or custom sector classification
- Currency — native currency exposure
Use the Look-Through toggle to see fund underlying exposures.
Top/Bottom Performers
A ranked list of your best and worst performing securities and portfolios over the selected period.
Filtering the Dashboard
Use the filter bar at the top to focus the analytics:

| Date Range | Choose a custom date range or a preset period |
| Base Currency | Override the display currency |
| Asset Class | Focus on a specific asset class |
| Client | Filter to a specific client's portfolios |
Exporting Analytics
Click the Export button to download the current view:
- Excel — all data in a structured spreadsheet
- PDF — a formatted analytics report
- Image — a PNG snapshot of the current charts

Cross-Client Analytics
Cross-client analytics requires the appropriate permissions.
The Cross-Client view aggregates analytics across all clients, allowing you to:
- See your total AUM and its composition
- Identify common exposures across client portfolios
- Spot concentration risks at the firm level
- Compare performance across client groups
